Dimwave collaborated with Dimerco in 2018 and 2019 to deploy VTMs at Taiwan Cooperative Bank's headquarters on ChangAn East Road in Taipei and the flagship branch in Hsinchu Science Park. The headquarters, located in one of Taipei's most prosperous districts, features a digital experience center where customers can open accounts at any time with the help of a remote agent and receive an IC bank card immediately from the machine
The flagship branch in Hsinchu Science Park is designed around the concept of "home," with an island table in the waiting area symbolizing a dining table and wooden decorations creating a living room-like ambiance. The VTM provides workers in the science park the convenience of accessing bank services during or outside working hours.
In 2016, Dimwave assisted in the deployment of VTMs at CTBC Bank's headquarters and DongHu branch, marking a significant step forward in enhancing banking convenience and efficiency. These VTMs enable banks to extend their service hours, allowing customers to open accounts at any time, even after the traditional 3:30 PM weekday cutoff. Once the process is completed, customers can instantly receive their IC bank cards from the machine. This innovation has not only improved customer satisfaction but also reinforced the bank's commitment to providing accessible and efficient services.
Facing the long and complex process of opening a bank account for customers in the frontline, Dimwave cooperated with Mega Bank to develop the Smart Teller Machine (STM) and set up a series of standard operation procedures for digitalizing the whole banking process. We not only simplified the works but also ensure a low rate of mistaking that can be made by the agents.
On the customer's side, we save a siganificant amount of time for them since they only need to put down their signature once during a quick 20 minute overall process.
